Great staff, cozy area, good for hiking nearby beaches or forest area. Nearby bar and store, breakfast was good.

No good nearby place to eat. Far away from everything, you kind of need your own motobike unless you want to spend several hundered pesos everytime you want to go somewhere (and back)

Very low cost accommodation

Staff was very kind and helpful. They helped us wit motobike rent. Free water on the reception. They offer laundry.

Breakfast was average or less. Without AC. Toilets didn't work and shower was terrible.

Worth the price

The host was really nice,quite outgoing and he would like to talk and share some of his home-made snacks to you.The breakfast was the best I've ever had.The place is just perfect to stay for a while.

It was very nice to stay here thanks to the managers and staff. Their kindness and availability makes you forget the few worries that can be encountered. The place is very quiet to rest after a day of sightseeing

the hotel staff friendliness, even with double booking problems (due to booking, or Chinese New Year) they tried to accommodate us in the best way.

pay in advance for reserving a room and receive something much worse when we get to the place

The private room "with bathroom"

The garden and breakfast (which is an omelette with 2 toast and one fruit) were nice, the staff was helpful but not very professional when handling complaints. However I feel like this was not their fault as this is something the owner should have handled. I am okay with sleeping in dorms and backpacking places but I do not appreciate false advertising which is something the owner should consider in the future. Overall we still enjoyed our stay there but it was not worth the money booking a private room with bathroom.

The advertised bathroom with shower did not include a shower for proper showering but rather for the toilet. However we didn't really care about this since the water was not working anyways during our stay. Further the advertised Pool was empty during our stay as it was supposedly leaking. Instead of accommodating us the receptionist told us that we should just use the shared showers and bathrooms without compensation. However these were not very clean and some scary giant crab animal lived in one of the women's stalls at night. The owner was not available in order to discuss our concerns. Also the shared room is very noisy as it is right above the common breakfast area and not at all insolated. As a light sleeper you will wake up at 6 a.m. to the sound of the reception bell and very sentimental music. Also the hot water machine for the coffee was broken. In regards to the Location there is a small beach in 10 min walking distance which is very quiet but not super beautiful, lots of locals there. There are not many restaurants around, the Spanish restaurant next to the place is okay but fairly expensive (I recall something like 300 php for a veg paella) other than that it is a good ride to the next places.

Air con was really good, moped rental available and next to a spanish resturant and there dogs were cute

All the water ran under the room so it stunk constantly of egg (they did put an air freshner up), breakfast was average, eggs tasted of garlic and bread was always undercooked, literally one restaurant and a shop opposite and then its a 30 minute walk to anywhere else.

only one relatively expensive spanish restaurant in walking distance. we booked a 4bed-room for 3 and ended up in a room with a small double bed and a matress on the floor with almost no space for our luggage. we got a discount but still not what we expected...

AVOID!

- Lady manager seemed nice, but just needs a bit more energy and happiness. - We saw them having a staff meeting so hopefully things will get better - The place has lots of potential - The dogs were the best things about this place!! All sterilised and vaccinated :)

- Damp everywhere - They rarely clean the bathrooms or empty bins - Some toilets don't have toilet seats - The shower is basically a dribble - No wi-fi in room, and if you want decent wifi, get up at 6am and be in the communal area - No ventilation in room - Seems very run down - but has a huge amount of potential - Staff lack energy. Rude when taking payment - Tried to charge more money when I tried to extend stay. When i showed them the price on booking.com, they still didn't listen - Lacking organisation.. running out of drinking water - Drains stink! - So much space but isn't being utilised - Breakfast - ok if you aren't vegan. Fruit was good, but one day they gave us toast with nothing to go on it. And another day they gave us eggs, i explained again we don't eat eggs. They bought back fruit with egg still on it from where it had been beside on the plate. Also, bringing me breakfast when we weren't ready for it, one day my partner wasn't even out of bed yet (7am).

Beautiful place, bathroom could be better

The breakfast was great, the owners really nice, helping us to organize our further travels and keeping our luggage until the time of our ferry. The best is the shared area and the beautiful garden :) it is also in a very quiet location, we had a bike so we had no problem accessing it but otherwise that'd could have been an issue

The shared bathroom needs to be better cleaned and maintained, and the room was really basic
